- Tai Chi Decreases Risk of Fractures

Two recent studies suggest that elderly people who practice the martial art have better strength in their leg muscles and improved balancing skills. This can make older people less susceptible to falls and more able to withstand a fall without breakages, a common concern for the aging population.
